 Note on Types of Tobacco Use 
Tobacco is smoked world wide as cigarettes, pipes and cigars. Bidi (local cigarette) smoking is practised in India, Sri Lanka and other Asian countries. Smokeless tobacco is marketed in the form of snuff or chewing tobacco. Oral and general health is affected by both tobacco smoking and tobacco chewing.
